Creativepreneur Tineka C. is a licensed beauty and fashion professional with more than 30 years of experience spanning cosmetology, design, youth development, and entertainment. A multi-talented creative, she specializes in children's clothing and costume design, multicultural hairstyling for all hair textures and types, and coaching parents through the world of child acting and entertainment.

As a licensed cosmetologist, Tineka has owned and operated her own salon, worked in exclusive hair loss facilities, and served as a resident hairstylist in skilled nursing and senior living communities. She currently serves as the resident stylist for Woodland Terrace Senior Living in Cary, North Carolina through Southern Luxe Community Salons.

 

Her talents extend far beyond the salon. Throughout her career, Tineka has worked as a freelance stylist for weddings, live performances, recitals, stage productions, photoshoots, and fashion shows. It was through theater productions and youth performances that she began developing her skills in costume and clothing design while working closely with young performers. By combining hair, makeup, fashion, and costume design, she developed a unique creative approach that allows her to bring complete visual concepts to life.

Known for her elegant design aesthetic and show-stopping runway productions, Tineka has become recognized for creating experiences that build confidence while showcasing young talent at their very best.

 

Tineka's passion for youth development became deeply personal through her own journey as a parent. She is the mother of child actor Timmy Richardson, whom she coached, guided, and professionally managed for more than a decade. Proudly calling herself a "Momager Pro," Tineka embraces the role of being a mother first while professionally navigating the entertainment industry on behalf of her child, helping to redefine the term through integrity, preparation, and purpose.

Under her guidance, Timmy has appeared on major television networks including BET, NBC, OWN, PBS, and STARZ, as well as numerous films and regional commercial campaigns. He is best known for his role as Justice on Tyler Perry's If Loving You Is Wrong and his appearance on Steve Harvey's Little Big Shots. Timmy also served as the junior drum major for Shaw University's renowned Platinum Sound Marching Band.

 

It was through volunteering her talents to support Timmy's elementary school drama department that Tineka discovered a deeper passion for working with children. What began with designing costumes and helping young performers prepare for the stage soon evolved into mentoring youth and guiding families through the entertainment industry.

Frequently approached by parents seeking advice on child modeling and acting, Tineka recognized a significant need for both parent education and youth development. She understood that many families lacked access to practical guidance, confidence-building experiences, and industry preparation.

​

Today, Tineka combines her extensive experience in beauty, fashion, design, entertainment, and talent development through the Tineka C. Foundation. Alongside her son Timmy, she has developed programs that help bridge the gap between child modeling and child acting while equipping youth with the confidence, communication skills, professionalism, and real-world preparation needed to pursue opportunities in the entertainment industry.
